The Tarnow Cathedral is an example of Northern Gothic or Red-Brick Gothic. There is an active music program there and the musical program is highlighted on a (primarily in Polish but with some real-audio clips) http://www.diecezja.tarnow.pl/muzyka/pct">web page.(presently down or moved)and both John and Pete were given music by the director of music.
Because of problems in getting there (see above, Klaus and directions), we were unable to get many photographs in the Church - service started shortly after we were through. There were lovely stained glass windows tho.
Also outside the Church was a lovely small mosaic above the door. The Church was used by Pope John Paul II to rest and pray in from the time he was selected Pope until he went to Rome.
The publicity was excellent, witness the sign advertising our concert - larger than the sign for the Pope's visit. After the Concert, we had dinner at a Vietnamese restaurant, danced Greek and Polish dances and exited singing "Ain't got time to Die"
