Depending upon the age group being used, you might have to
consider tunes from familiar rock or alternative bands!!! Another
comment: the motif from
"Close Encounters of the Third Kind" offers relative familiarity and
several good intervallic
studies, i.e., upward M2, downward M3, octave, upward P5.
