Jean Keister Kellogg, soprano, has sung recitals, opera and cabaret at the “Music at Noon” and “In Series” in Washington D.C.; at Strathmore Hall and Howard Community College in Maryland; and at MetroStage and Little Theatre of Alexandria in Virginia. Oratorio solo engagements include Mozart's Requiem, Coronation Mass, and Mass in C minor; Schubert's Mass in A-flat; Bach's Mass in B Minor; Saint-Saens Christmas Oratorio; and Vivaldi's Motet O qui coeli with the New Dominion Chorale of Northern Virginia, Gainesville (FL) Civic Choir and Orchestra, Washington Summer Sings, Chesapeake Chorale, and Northeastern Illinois University Chamber Orchestra. She is a cantor and frequent soloist at Old St. Patrick's Church in Chicago.She has a Master's degree in opera coaching and accompanying from Westminster Choir College, and Bachelor's degree in piano performance from Florida State University. Ms. Kellogg was the former Dean of the Levine School of Music in Washington, D.C. and former Artistic Administrator of Greater Miami Opera (now Florida Grand Opera). She is currently the Director of Education at Lyric Opera of Chicago. |
