Janet Dee

Janet Dee was born and raised in central Illinois, and began her musical training at an early age. She has participated in the John Hawk Memorial Vesper Services, soloing in the Magnificat and other inspiring works. As a result of her contribution to the community's music program, Ms. Dee was given the annual John Hawk scholarship award. She has studied vocal presentation for a number of years, and is currently working with vocal coach Jamie Kaisershot. Ms. Dee's solo concert of classical and spiritual numbers was presented to her home church in Shelbyville, Illinois. A much-sought-after musician for weddings and other community events, Ms. Dee has sung with several community choruses in the northern Illinois area and has performed with the Naperville Chorus for the past five years. She is a member of the Naperville Chamber Singers, as well as current pianist, choir accompanist and vocal soloist at the United Methodist Church in Batavia, Illinois. Ms. Dee is employed as a Trust Officer with Old Second National Bank in Aurora, Illinois.
