Elizabeth GrizzellMezzo-soprano Elizabeth Grizzell has performed with ensembles both in the USA and abroad. The Chicago Tribune has said that “Elizabeth Grizzell displayed a beautifully shaded mezzo” in recent performances. She has also performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, where she has recorded the role of Apprentice with the late Sir Georg Solti in Wagner's Die Meistersinger. Elizabeth has also sung with the Tunbridge Wells Opera, and the Wooburn Singers of Bourne End, England and Highland Opera Theatre where she performed Maddalena in Verdi's Rigoletto.

Elizabeth is also a regular member of Chicago A Capella, a unique nine voice ensemble. The Recorded A Cappella Review Board commented “I have to mention the golden voice of Elizabeth Grizzell, ... She brings a wonderfully pure tone to the simple Irish carol Wexford Lullaby, and her turn on Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas will bring tears.”

Betsy is a member of Richard Proulx's Cathedral Singers, and solos regularly with both GIA and Hinshaw Publishing. She is also a regular soloist at St. John Cantius in Chicago.

Of special note is her MusiKids program, a musical education experience designed for children ages birth to 6 years old. Her studio in Naperville introduces over 100 children to the fun and beauty of music. Ms. Grizzell holds a Bachelor of Music degree with a vocal emphasis from DePaul University in Chicago.
