Barbara Vanderwall holds a Bachelor of Music degree from North Central College and a Master of Music Degree in Piano Performance from the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati. While at the University of Cincinnati, she was an accompanying assistant for the voice department and studied piano with Jeanne Kirstein. Mrs. Vanderwall appears often as a vocal and instrumental accompanist in the Chicago area and has experience as a chamber musician. She is currently the accompanist for the Naperville Community Chorus, the Naperville Chamber Singers, and the North Central College Women's Chorale. A piano instructor at North Central College, she also serves as the Music Department's Piano Studies Coordinator.
Barbara and her husband, Timothy, have two grown children and reside in Dwight, Illinois. Mrs. Vanderwall is also an active tennis player and has served in administrative positions with the USTA. She is currently the assistant coach for her husband, who is the tennis coach at Joliet Junior College.
